After arriving in Damascus, we start the full-day city trip by going down the Via Recta (straight street), which was mentioned in the Bible. We visit the Azem Palace housing the Museum of Arts and Popular Traditions, then head to Umayyad Mosque which is one of the earliest surviving mosques in the world with its stunning Islamic architecture and where Salah Al-Din Al-Ayyubi is buried. We continue to the chapel of St. Ananias built in the first century. Then, if you want to spend the night in Damascus, you can go shopping in the old Souq and finish the day by walking past the Church of St. Paul's Window.
All you need is a one-week tour to Syria to rejuvenate yourself and return home with exceptional memories and much knowledge gained throughout the excursions. Don't miss what our clients had to say about traveling on this seven-day tour!
