After arriving in Damascus, we start the full-day city trip by going down the Via Recta (straight street), which was mentioned in the Bible. We visit the Azem Palace housing the Museum of Arts and Popular Traditions, then head to Umayyad Mosque which is one of the earliest surviving mosques in the world with its stunning Islamic architecture and where Salah Al-Din Al-Ayyubi is buried. We continue to the chapel of St. Ananias built in the first century. Then, if you want to spend the night in Damascus, you can go shopping in the old Souq and finish the day by walking past the Church of St. Paul's Window.

A visit to the Damascus National Museum and continue on to Maaloula, a town in Rif-Dimashq built into the rocky mountainside at a height of more than 1500 meters. It is the only place where Aramaic, the language used by Jesus, is still spoken.
From archeological tours on land to breathtaking highly spiritual sights. We like to think that we provide the best cultural tours filled with historical knowledge, but we are constantly working to improve.
In this weekend trip to Syria we are aiming to highlight the remarkable attractions of Damascus and its environs. The fact that Syria is once again opening its borders to tourists from all over the world and that it is regaining its touristic relevance made our clients very delighted. Therefore, we value their endorsements of us and we like to show how they felt working with us.
"We had the most remarkable weekend family tour. Not only was everything wonderful, but we also had the sense that the entire team, including our guides, truly cared about us and wanted to make this trip special. Our trip's diversity, which included everything from archaeological sites to medieval monuments, pleasantly delighted us. What really stunned me was the Umayyad mosque, this place is filled with history! Every corner, inside-out, has a story to tell or pays tribute to a kind of art created by this long-ago people. I was very pleased to hear how Muslims and Christians still pray together here and tried to read about the Byzantine characteristics of the mosque, which makes it unique in the world."
"What a wonderful experience! Although it was just a two days trip but it lived up to our very high expectations. The food in Syria was really plentiful; I had a variety of meals and snacks, but the Shawrma really won my heart-even though I had previously tried it in a different middle eastern countries, the Syrian version is unquestionably the greatest! Additionally, the Damascene people was really friendly and charming. With this incredible assistance SyriaLink provides, next time I will most certainly stay more than a weekend." " This was our second experience with SyriaLink. And we are delighted to give them an excellent rating on this weekend tour, everything run very smoothly, from initial contact, to booking, to superb coordination by the tour organizers. The selection of tour sites was perfect, me and my husband come from an Orthodox Christian families and what really pleasantly surprised us was Maaloula city near Damascus with its monasteries that date back to the Roman era and the language of Christ that is still spoken there by the local inhabitants. Unfortunately the village has been affected during the Syrian Civil conflict. Nevertheless, Maaloula is a very interesting town to visit."
