How to get a Syrian Visa when traveling
independently?
Obtaining a Syrian visa in this way is more
challenging. The main thing you should consider is that you will need to obtain
your visa from a Syrian embassy or consulate before you decide to travel, and
this requires submitting a complete application form if you are applying from
the embassy.
The procedure differs between embassies.
However, in general, if they approve your application, they will subsequently
submit a security clearance application on your behalf.
Once you are at the borders, you could pay a
tour operator for a visa to Syria and then cross the border independently to
pick up your visa there. You might get lucky and acquire the security clearance
at this point; if so, you can get your visa at the border as well.
Keep in mind
You won't be able to obtain your visa at the
border if you don't have the necessary security clearance.
What are the costs of the Syrian Visa that
